Iyad Perdaus Staff Testimonial

I joined Iyad Perdaus as an assistant teacher in 2019 and became a full time teacher in January 2021. Being the only male teacher in an otherwise female-led sector, I understand the challenges faced by male early childhood educators as well as the professionalism demanded of us. I acknowledge that students view male preschool teachers in a different light and thus the benefit of playing the role of a father figure especially to those who lack one at home.

My experience being an educator has been rewarding, both when seeing my children grow and develop as well as getting more than sufficient support from fellow teaching staff in a friendly and healthy work environment.

Iyad Perdaus Hougang, Preschool Educator
I have been with Iyad Perdaus since 2016 and I am appreciative of the support as well as the Professional Development that I get through training and mentorship under senior educators and centre leaders, who have been advising and encouraging me to explore creative ways to engage the children.

Iyad Perdaus has strong ethos and keeps to the core values of Integrity, Quality, Respect and Acceptance – making it a centre for parents to enrol their children.
